Body of a man discovered in Donegal residence

Gardaí (Irish police) have launched an investigation following the discovery of a body in County Donegal.

The body of a man aged in his 40s, was discovered at a residence in Buncrana on Tuesday morning.

The body currently remains at the scene, as Garda forensic and technical examinations are carried out.

The office of the state pathologist has been notified and a post-mortem examination is to be arranged.
